Advice from the Masters: Steven Pressfield

Apr 15, 2015 | Better Writing

Steven Pressfield has written a whole bunch of good stuff, but if you read this blog, there’s one work you should definitely buy and read. It’s his War of Art. The following advice is from that book.

“This is the other secret that real artists know and wannabe writers don’t. When we sit down each day and do our work, power concentrates around us. The Muse takes note of our dedication. She approves. We have earned favor in her sight. When we sit down and work, we become like a magnetized rod that attracts iron filings. Ideas come. Insights accrete.”

When you do your work, good things happen. For more, check out War of Art and visit Pressfield’s web site. Good things await you.
