Book recommendations for business leaders: 4/28/16

Apr 28, 2016 | Reading Lists

Stephen King says that if you want to be a writer, there are two things you must do: read a lot and write a lot. This is about the “read a lot” part. I include reading lists and book reviews that will help you do business more effectively and write better for business.

In this post I’m pointing you to lists on human potential and big data.

From Dan Cable: 5 top reads on human potential

“Today, leaders need to be their best possible versions if they want people to follow them. The ideas that fill the pages of these books are practical and force you to ask: am I being my best self?”

From Jessica Davis: 10 Big Data Books To Boost Your Career

“People with big data and data science skills are some of the most sought after professionals because demand is outstripping supply. Here are 10 books that can help you learn everything about the emerging field and the tools you will need to conquer it.”

Wally’s Comment: This list is presented as a slide show. You’ll find the arrows to click on up under the teaser copy. The list is for techies, but there are several books that will be profitable reads for non-tech businessfolk.
