Unlike reaction posts, they are not tethered to someone else’s post or article. Think pieces are not simple lists or collections. They’re not an answer to a simple question. They are you, thinking in public. So you want to make it good.

Let it rest. Even more than other kinds of posts, a think piece benefits from revision after your ardor has cooled.
Cook until done. Don’t rush the process. Revise and edit until the piece represents you well and is ready for publication.
