Reynolds Price is one of the writers I love to re-read. He wrote fourteen novels, dozens of short stories, plays, poems, scholarship, and three memoirs. When you read his fiction, especially the short stories, it’s like sitting on the front porch listening to someone tell you a story.
The piece of advice I’ve chosen to share here is one I’ve quoted to many clients. I repeat it to myself often as a warning and reminder.
