Writing a Book: Just write

Dec 11, 2013 | Writing A Book

Writing isn’t easy and it can be a little scary if you haven’t done much of it. That’s why so many people spend their time starting to prepare to get ready to begin planning to write their book, instead of just writing it.

Thinking is good. Outlining is fine. Research is necessary. But none of those things is writing.

If you’re stuck, just start writing. You’ll churn out some junk, but you’ll also come up with things you can use. Then you can get down to serious work.

Bottom Line

Once you write you have something to work with. Until you write all you have is ambition.
