Advice from the Masters: Benjamin Disraeli

Today, we remember Benjamin Disraeli for his political achievements and exploits. But, in addition to politics, the man had a serious career as a novelist and wrote several books on politics and economics. That’s the experience that produced this advice that’s still valuable today.

“The best way to become acquainted with a subject is to write a book about it.”

One of the very best reasons for writing a book is that writing is a learning experience.
