If you’re my age and you’ve read business books and articles for a long time, the name “Bruce Henderson” is associated with the founder of the Boston Consulting Group and a powerful influence on management thought and the practice of consulting. But that’s not the Bruce Henderson whose advice I’m sharing here.

The Bruce Henderson that matters here and now is a top nonfiction author. His most recent book is Rescue at Los Banos. Here’s some advice about the history that’s all around you.
