Advice from the Masters: Sandra Brown

Sep 24, 2014 | Better Writing

Sandra Brown’s web site lays out her credentials.

“Brown began her writing career in 1981 and since then has published over seventy novels, bringing the number of copies of her books in print worldwide to upwards of eighty million. Her work has been translated into thirty-four languages.”

There’s more on the site, but the thing that got my attention was on the GoodReads site. That’s where influences are listed and Taylor Caldwell is one of them. I like that because I think Taylor Caldwell was one of the best writers that nobody seemed to want to admit to liking.

I found this Sandra Brown quote on GoodReads, too.

“You can only write by putting words on a paper one at a time.”
