Advice from the Masters: David Carr

David Carr had a lot of lessons to teach serious writers. At the end of his life he was channeling his enthusiasm for teaching young journalists by teaching a course at Boston University. The following advice is taken from the syllabus for his course.

“In order to have a chance of making great work, you have to consume remarkable work.”
