John Grisham has written a sold a boatload of books. As of 2012, his thirty-plus novels had sold more than 275 million copies in 42 languages. Eight of the novels have been adapted into films. How does he do it?
According to the Daily Rituals web site he wrote five days a week, starting at 530 AM. He said his goal was to write a page every day.
“Sometimes that would take 10 minutes, sometimes an hour; ofttimes he would write for two hours before he had to turn to his job as a lawyer, which he never especially enjoyed.”
