Advice from the Masters: Walter Isaacson

Walter Isaacson is now the President and CEO of the Aspen Institute. He’s also been the CEO of CNN and Managing Editor at Time. But you probably know him as the author of books about Steve Jobs, Benjamin Franklin, and Albert Einstein. They’re all good, but my personal favorite is The Innovators. It covers a lot of ground and a lot of people and gets the important stuff right.

Here’s some advice from Walter Isaacson, taken from his biography of Steve Jobs.

“In the annals of innovation, new ideas are only part of the equation. Execution is just as important.”
