You can learn a lot from a good example. That’s why every week I highlight one great business blog. This week, it’s Mike Myatt’s N2Growth.
Most of the business bloggers I follow rarely write posts over 500 words. My guess is that Mike’s average post is just about double that. In a world of 500 word posts, you’ve got to be pretty good to get visitors to read a 1000 word post. Mike’s better than that.
What Mike creates are “think pieces” that repay close attention. He strives to be provocative, which increases the interest level for most people. Mike doesn’t post as often as many bloggers, but if you like what you find here, you should check out his column on Forbes, “Leadership Myths – Busting Them One by One.”
